The Rams will need Melvin Johnson to play within himself and not take bad shots. That could be tricky. VCU is capable of playing with any team in the conference. Wins over George Washington, St. Bonaventure, St. Joes and took Dayton to OT in UD Arena. Sleeper: Davidson-JACK GIBBS. Is all it takes is for Gibbs to get hot and this team has the potential to beat anyone in the league. They also can drop a game to any of the bottom feeders. See George Mason, Saint Louis. Maybe, a little defense would help a sleeper run as well. Players To Watch: Jack Gibbs, Davidson: Averaging 24.8 points. The flamethrower can get hot at any time. Charles Cooke, Dayton: The Flyers leading scorer will need to keep hitting threes to stretch the floor for the Flyers. Cooke hit the three ball at a .411 rate. Jequan Lewis, VCU: One of the top free throw shooters in the conference. Lewis will need to get in the lane often for this team to be successful. |
