Brice Johnson and Kennedy Meeks are a tough load to handle. Add in the X-factor of Justin Jackson and a top notch point guard in Marcus Paige, You have a championship team. Sleeper: Florida State-Dwayne Bacon, Malik Beasley and Xavier Rathan-Mayes form a great backcourt. If a fire is let under Rathan Mayes in this tournament watchout. I’d like to see him takeover in this tournament. Drop 30 on North Carolina, like he did this season, takeover. Players To Watch: Xavier Rathan-Mays, Florida State-I have talked about him enough in the sleeper section. Check that out one more time. Micheal Gbinije, Syracuse-The senior guard has done nothing but get better each season. The Orange will face the Tar Heels if they advance. The cuse went down in both meetings with UNC. Gbinije will be important for a run. Marcus Paige-If they plan on taking the crown, Paige will be key. His numbers are down overall this season but his presence on the floor is unmeasured. |
