Last year I didn't pick KU to win the Big 12 and I won't do it again. The Jayhawks return Elijah Johnson and Jeff Withey two players who will have a bigger roles with Robinson and Taylor gone. Travis Releford returns also and will lead the team in scoring some nights. The incoming class of players will be the deciding factor in how far this KU team will go. Ben McLemore is eligble to play after sitting out last season.
#2 Oklahoma State
Le'Bryan Nash made the smart decision to return for his sophomore year. Nash was a bit inconsistent, but showed great potential. Another highly touted player makes his debut in Stillwater, Marcus Smart. What gives the Cowboys the edge over other teams in the conference are the supporting cast. Olukeml averaged (9.4 ppg), Brain Williams (9.6 ppg), and Markel Brown. This is the year for the Cowboys to rise to the top and Travis Ford to save his job.
