Game PicksMon, Nov 14
6 p.m. No. 4 UConn at No. 15 Florida State (women) ESPN2 If you are willing to bet against UConn? Be my guest. 8 p.m. No. 6 Texas at No. 10 Stanford (women) ESPN2 Stanford women have a good following. Will be a tough road atmosphere for the Longhorns. 10 p.m. Princeton at BYU ESPN2 Huge game for both teams that have March dreams. Give me Princeton in a mild upset. Tue, Nov 15 Midnight San Diego State at Gonzaga ESPN2 Two of the best programs on the West Coast collide at midnight, how awesome is that? Two teams with a huge home court advantage. Zags are home, Zags win. 2 a.m. Green Bay at Pacific ESPN2 Green Bay will be at or near the top of the Horizon League. A Pacific win would give them confidence. I’ll take the Phoenix. 4:15 a.m. Florida Atlantic at Hawaii ESPN2 Two teams that we aren’t very impressed with heading into the season. FAU has a big time difference so I will lean Hawaii. 6:30 a.m. Niagara at Hartford ESPN2 Another Matchup of two teams we don’t project to have great seasons. Hartford though will pull this one out. 8:45 a.m. Winthrop at Manhattan ESPN2 If you have yet to see Keon Johnson play, tune in. Winthrop gets the win in the Big Apple. 11 a.m. Longwood at Stephen F. Austin ESPN2 Stephen F. Austin was everyone's favorite team last season. They come back still a good team but not quite at the level we are used to seeing them at. Jacks still get the win. 1:15 p.m. Dayton at Alabama ESPN2 Last season this game wasn’t even close. Dayton will go on the road this season and face a Crimson Tide team that is much improved. Still flying with the Flyers though. 3:30 p.m. No. 10 Oregon at Baylor ESPN2 Some have Oregon as a favorite to win it all this season. Baylor however continues to trend down. Oregon wins big. 7 p.m. State Farm Champions Classic (Madison Square Garden, New York): No. 3 Kentucky vs. No. 13 Michigan State ESPN I am not sold on Michigan State just yet. Kentucky is very young but you can’t shy away from that talent. Cats win. 9:30 p.m. State Farm Champions Classic (Madison Square Garden, New York): No. 1 Duke vs. No. 4 Kansas ESPN We get this matchup and we aren’t even a week into the season. The backcourt matchups will be amazing to watch. I’ll take Duke, but man, I really don’t know. |
